FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Most of our rentals are for up to 8 hours, between 8am-8pm. Other rentals are by the hour. Please view the time description for each unit to be sure you are getting the most time out of your rental.
YES! Most rentals can be extended overnight for just 20% more. Overnight rentals are subject to availability.
This depends on the unit you have rented. Most bounce houses and combos have a 5-7 player limit. Obstacle Course and slides may have more (or less). Most of our units have the max player count on the front of the unit. Use your best judgement (i.e. 15 kids on a bounce house is a BIG NO). Call us if you have any questions about occupancy counts.
If you are a non profit you will not be charged sales tax. You can do one of two things:
1. Call our office and let us know you are tax exempt. We will remove the tax once we receive your tax exempt certificate.
2. Place your order (with sales tax included) and in the customer comments section let us know that your tax exempt. Once you receive your confirmation email, just reply to it with a tax exempt certificate attached and we will send an updated invoice with the sales tax removed.
Feel free to contact our office if you have any questions.

Most of our inflatables do NOT come with an attendant. You will need to hire our staff for an additional cost if you want our employess to supervise the unit. Some items like our mechanical bulls and trackless trains do come with an operator. ALL units must be supervised by an ADULT at all times as it stated in your rental agreement.
Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That is why we require an outlet within 50 feet of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.
Most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you will probably need to rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. Also, parks rentals have a park fee and a minimum order amount ($500) and the latest pick up is at 6pm, unless you are a larger event for a church, corporate, school etc.
If your event is cancelled due to bad weather you will receive a raincheck equal to the amount you've paid. Rainchecks are valid for a rescheduled event for one year from the date of your original event. Please contact us at 817-246-3600 if you have any questions regarding our bad weather policy.
We understand that somethings happen. If you need to cancel we are happy to reschedule your event, subject to availability. Due to scheduling commitments, we do not issue refunds for cancellations, including cancellations due to inclement weather. Yes, but please be aware that due to rising gas prices and the possible need for an extra truck and labor that travel fees can be quite high. Please call our office for a current quote.
No. We arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play.
That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the Friday before to confirm that someone will be at the party location.
No. The jump should be clean when you get it. Sky Pirates Inflatables cleans and disinfects each unit after every rental.
Sizes may vary. Most of our bounce houses (all of our character jumps for example) are 15 feet x15 feet which is a little bigger than many companies rent. Please note the space required for each jump (listed near the large picture) as some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Jumps need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and cannot rub against walls or trees as this may damage the jump. The sizes listed with each jump include the space needed for stakes etc. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup.
Check the requirements listed with each jump. Also, make sure you have at least a 4 foot clearance access to the area where it will be set up. The jumps can weigh up to 650 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.
We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, indoors, and concrete. Sorry, we can not set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.
Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.
Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We do not want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
